Three comedians headline Comedy Night in Jefferson Township!

Not one, not two, but three hilarious comedians will headline the Jefferson Arts Committee’s Comedy Night scheduled for October 9th at the American Legion Post #423 on Legion Road, 28 Legion Road, Oak Ridge, NJ through Danny C. Entertainment.  Doors open at 7 pm and the show begins at 8 pm.

The Master of Ceremonies/Host for the evening will be comedian, producer, and booker Bob Gonzo.  Bob was a cutup from an early age and learned the way to a girl’s heart was to make them laugh!  Honing his comedic talent at various comedy clubs around the United States and Virgin Isles, Bob has become the Comics Comic.  Equally comfortable performing in front of huge crowds or in intimate clubs, he has perfected his MC skills as well as his comedic timing. Look for the "Bob Gonzo Show," on cable's new on-demand network, RipeTV (www.ripetv.com), as well as in syndication and on-line.

An entertainer since the early age of 9 years old, a musician up until 1980 turned comedian, Paul Venier is now described as a one-man comedy tornado! His television credits include The Tonight Show (NBC), on which he performed sketch comedy with Don Rickels,  he appeared in the film Cadillac Man with Tim Robbins, and he has performed at many of the nation's best comedy venues such as New York City's Caroline's and the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. In addition, he has "opened" shows for comedians Jay Leno and Jackie Mason as well as singer Lou Reed.

What was supposed to be a three-month stand-up comedy tour from Australia across the US has become indefinite due to the overwhelming demand for Jim Dailakis to perform all over the country. He has appeared on television shows on VH1, NBC CMT as well as commercials in the USA and around the world. He performs at the top comedy clubs nationwide including The Borgata, Caroline’s, The Laugh Factory, and has performed stand-up in six countries. He has worked with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Larry the Cable Guy, John The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Weird Al YankovicHe’s headlined across the world a many comedy festivals and has begun his It’s All Greek to Me comedy tour with Jimmy Santis in Montreal, Calgary, New York and New Jersey.
