Jefferson Township Day Parade

Jefferson Township Day Parade line-up is coming together!

The 26th annual Jefferson Township Day celebration is getting closer; and Parade Chairperson Jeanne Hantson has been working hard to ensure that the parade lineup is exciting for everyone to come out and enjoy on Saturday, July 14 beginning at 11 AM on Weldon Road in Oak Ridge, NJ.

Right now, the lineup will be led by Town Crier Bill Joseph and the following groups will be participating either as marchers, in vehicles, on bicycles, or on floats: a Bicycle Parade and Contest overseen by the Joseph F. Lamb Knights of Columbus Council, convertibles transporting dignitaries and Grand Marshalls Rose Jackameit and Tom McCarthy, Oak Ridge Martial Arts, Fusion Core Drum & Bugle Corps, military vehicles, NJSPCA, Parade for Pierson, North Jersey Jeep Club, Jefferson Township Republican Club, Jefferson Township Recreational Cheerleading Association, American Legion Riders, Tri County Motorcycle Club, NJ Forest Fire Service, Diane's Dance Academy 23, Jefferson Township Fire Co. #1 and its Ladies Auxiliary, Canine Cuts, Loving & Learning Christian Child Care, the Fairways Lawn Chair Drill Team, Jefferson Township Fire Co. #2, the Jefferson Township Historical Society, and the Morris County Chapter of the Red Cross

If you or your organization is not included and would be interested in participating in this old-fashioned township parade, a Parade Participation form can be found at the Jefferson Arts Committee’s website at www.jeffersonarts.org  in the Special Features section.
