Carnaby St. Concert

Carnaby St. will rock Jefferson Township Day Back to the 60’s!

The Jefferson Arts Committee is so excited to announce that the band Carnaby St. will recreate the musically magical decade that was the 60’s when they take the stage to deliver a fantastic evening concert at this summer’s Jefferson Township Day XXVII event on Saturday, July 13 on the fields of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge.  They will perform that great music from the British Invasion to Psychedelic Rock and One-Hit Wonders in a two-hour concert starting at 7 pm before the spectacular fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Carnaby St. will transport the audience right into the heart of pop music’s favorite era featuring the timeless songs from The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, The Moody Blues, Bob Dylan and The Monkees.  Carnaby St. revives the music that defines the mood of a unique period in history and has performed with many of the bands whose music they cover.  Whether you’re from the Greatest Generation, the Net Generation, or any time in between, Carnaby St.’s fresh take on the music of the fabulous 60’s is sure to get you rockin’.  Visit the website at www.Carnabystreetband.net

Mark your calendar for July 13 - the 27th annual Jefferson Township Day to enjoy all the day has to offer and then to rock with Carnaby St. that night.  Jefferson Township Day inquiries can be directed to Chairman John Focacci at 973-697-2032 or artscommittee@jeffersonarts.org
