GBP’s special chemistry comes to the Jefferson Gazebo on August 23

The Jefferson Arts Committee’s Gazebo Committee is pleased to announce that The George Baier Project will appear in the 2013 free summer concert series on Friday evening, August 23.  The show will be held in the beautiful Victorian gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ beginning at 7 pm and is sponsored by The Jefferson Arts Committee.

An outstanding acoustic electric band, this band’s chemistry provides professional entertainment with ease as their perform classic songs from The Beatles, Credence Clearwater Revival, Van Morrison, Cat Stevens, The Eagles,  etc. combined with current hits by Matt Nathanson, Howie Day, Mat Kearney, and many more.  Baier, guitarist and lead vocalist, is a well known and respected musician who has performed in the Tri-State area for over 30 years playing a variety of original songs and tunes from the 60’s through today’s current hits. Concentrating on the great songs everyone remembers and appreciates, popular favorites plus a sophisticated selection of original tunes leaves the band’s audience begging for more. Visit their website at www.gbpband.com

Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions.  In the event of the threat of inclement weather or such weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township High School auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road.  For information and updates, call 973-697-2032 or 697-3828, log on to www.jeffersonarts.org or www.jeffersontownship.net

What a great way to end the week and wind down for the weekend. Remember, dancing and singing along is always encouraged at these summer concerts; and free-will donations are always gratefully accepted.
