Gazebo offers Country sprinkled with Rock ‘n Roll on August 2

The Jefferson Arts Committee’s Gazebo Committee is pleased to announce that Tequila Rose will appear in the 2013 free summer concert series on Friday evening, August 2.  The show will be held in the beautiful Victorian gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ beginning at 7 pm and is sponsored by The Jefferson Arts Committee.

Tequila Rose has become one of New Jersey’s hottest “New Country” bands over the last several years by mixing the best of today’s country music with classic country hits of the past and sprinkling in a little rock and roll as well as southern rock.  Known for their three-part harmonies, they have kept crowds singing and dancing at many of the area’s top clubs including The Whiskey Café,  Big John’s Pub, The Landslide Saloon, and many others.  The band also enjoys playing for crowds of all ages at many of the area’s summer fairs and festivals.  Log on to www.tequilaroseband.com for a preview!

Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions.  In the event of the threat of inclement weather or such weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township High School auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road.  For information and updates, call 973-697-2032 or 697-3828, log on to www.jeffersonarts.org or www.jeffersontownship.net

What a great way to end the week and wind down for the weekend. Remember, dancing and singing along is always encouraged at these summer concerts; and free-will donations are always gratefully accepted.
