Community Band to perform in annual Christmas in the Village event

On Saturday December 1st, the Jefferson Township Community Band will perform at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church during Jefferson Township’s 2007 Christmas in the Village event. The concert begins at 3:00pm, and admission is free to the public.

Various Holiday pieces will be performed including: Sleigh Ride, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Jingle Bells Forever (march), Winter Wonderland, Overture to a Winter Festival, and Charlie Brown’s Christmas.

The Jefferson Township Community Band, under the direction of former Jefferson Township High School Band Director Peter Tummillo Jr., was started in 1992 to provide an avenue of expression for community instrumentalists. Membership is open to all Jefferson Township residents and high school Alumni regardless of age and/or level of musicianship.
