Christmas in the Village to feature rock bands with holiday spirit!
In an effort to include the teen and young adult population in its upcoming Christmas in the Village event, the Jefferson Arts Committee is pleased to host five local bands on Saturday, December 1, 2007. Thanks to the cooperation of the American Legion Post #423 located on Legion Road in the Milton/Oak Ridge section of Jefferson Township, the bands will have an open space to perform and plenty of room for the public to listen.
Performances by TV Wasteland at 11:45 am, AboveAllFallen at 12:30 pm, Stop the Clock at 1:15 pm, Enthrall at 2 pm, and Aesthetic Standby at 2:45 pm. Each band has been asked to get into the holiday spirit by opening with a holiday song in their own style and adapting their attire to fit the festive season.
Enthrall’s band members include Greg Vartanian – guitar/vocals, Zack Miranda-guitar, George Moridakis-bass, and Chris Vartanian-drums.
Aesthetic Standby’s band members include Arj, Mike Kaschak, Louis Bacigalupo, Devin Esposito, and Shawn Tusse.
It’s Brian Thompson, et al with Stop the Clock; Chris Coffey, et al with TV Wasteland; and Andy Chesonis, et al with AboveAllFallen.
American Legion members will be on hand inside offering pizza and sodas for sale as well as live Christmas trees outside in their parking lot. The Post is also an official free parking area and shuttle stop to other locations within the venue – look for the eight-foot toy soldier marking the spot!
