Jefferson Community Players to perform at Library
Coming this November, the Jefferson Community Players will be performing at the Jefferson Township Public Library located at 1030 Weldon Road in Oak Ridge, NJ.
Friday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 PM Free admission and complimentary refreshments. (This program is offered and sponsored by the Library)
3 one act plays: "Sneeze" (comedy) "The Runaway" (light drama) and "The Kentucky Marriage Proposal" (comedy)
"Sneeze" introduces two ladies and their afternoon in the park. "The Runaway" shows us an encounter in the park between a runaway teenager and a homeless woman.
"The Kentucky Marriage Proposal" displays the stormy courtship between a bachelor and his spinster neighbor with her mother, the referee. Will she accept his proposal?
There will be encore performances on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 PM at the Jefferson Senior Center, 54 Schoolhouse Road, Milton. All seats $5 and includes refreshments.
Our cast: Helene Emery, Tina Lawrence, Krysia Dour, Lynda Kolvik, Christine Klecka, Jordan Cimbal and
Jean Simonson (a rare stage appearance).
