Mayor's Jefferson Township Day Breakfast is relocated due to Museum renovations

The Jefferson Township Historical Society will once again host Mayor Russ Felter's annual Mayor's Breakfast on Jefferson Township Day scheduled this year for Saturday, July 14 beginning at 9:30 am. Due to extensive renovations and repairs being done at the Jefferson Township Museum, this year's breakfast has been moved to the Jefferson Township High School field. All Jefferson Township volunteers and invited guests and dignitaries are invited to stop by for some light breakfast fare and refreshments until 10:30 am.

Although the breakfast has been moved, the owners of all convertibles transporting dignitaries and special invited guests in the parade will still assemble in the parking lot of the Milton United Methodist Church on Dover-Milton Road as originally planned.

Those dignitaries and special guests who wish to stop by the Mayor's Breakfast can park their own vehicles in the Church's parking lot, and the township's Dial-a-Ride van will transport them up to the high school field and then transport them back to the Church parking lot to the waiting convertibles in time for the parade line-up to assemble.

Following the parade and opening ceremonies on the field, those individuals will be transported back to their own vehicles parked in the church parking lot.
