Come play Laser Tag and climb the Rock Wall on Jefferson Township Day!

It’s time for kids of all ages --  ‘tweens and teens as well as adults to come out and play on Jefferson Township Day this year.   Outdoor Laser Tag and a 24-foot rock-climbing wall will be waiting for you on the Jefferson Township High School field located at 1010 Weldon Road on Saturday, July 12..

Laser Tag is an interactive game where up to 24 people – 12 on 12 - can play on an outdoor course with exciting adventures and missions.  “Last-Man-Standing” will be the name of the approximately ten-minute game where each participant will be manned with a laser gun.  Dodge through the barricades that will be set up in this fast-paced game that combines the classic games of tag and hide and seek with a high-tech twist.  Whether individually or on teams, use your laser gun to score as many points as possible by tagging the sensors on your opponents’ equipment.  Guided by professional staff members, the participation fee is only $5 per person for each session.  The games sponsored by the Jefferson Arts Committee will begin at 1 PM and run continuously through 7 PM.  Form you own team for even more fun mapping your strategy so you can be the last man or woman standing in your game!

Then challenge yourself by climbing the 24-foot rock wall.  Experience real rock climbing where up to four people can climb at once.  Make it to the top and ring your buzzer to declare victory!  Appropriate for all ages and abilities, anyone who can fit into a body harness and is able to take instructions from a professional staff member can participate.  The structure allows for three different climbing routes that can be used simultaneously and a state-of–the-art patented auto-belaying system which insures the safety of all participants.  The auto-belaycable safety system ensures a safe and positive experience.   Sponsored by the Jefferson Township Recreation Department, the wall will be open from 1 pm to 5 pm with a participation fee of only $5 for each climb.

Both activities will be open to all elementary-aged school children as well and can even be played by family groups.

Don’t sit at home – come out and play on July 12th!
