Van Oudenarens to sing at opening ceremony
Jefferson Township residents Abigail and Colleen Van Oudenaren will be on the main stage on Jefferson Township Day XXII, Saturday, July 12th at the Jefferson Township High School field. Abigail, who just graduated from Jefferson Township High School, and her mother Colleen, a member of the Jefferson Township Community Chorus, will sing the Star Spangled Banner accompanied by the Jefferson Township High School Golden Falcons Marching Band. The duo is also scheduled to sing God Bless America a capella to kick off the day's festivities at the opening ceremony at approximately noon following the 11 am parade along Weldon Road.
