2014 concert: The 3M Band
The Jefferson Arts Committee’s Gazebo Committee announces that The 3M Band will perform in the 2014 free summer concerts on Friday evening, August 22 at 7 PM at the beautiful Victorian gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ. The Jefferson Township Public Library is sponsoring this concert.
Originating in Pompton Lakes in 1971, The 3M Band has been performing for over 40 years playing classic Rock ‘n Roll featuring the music of the Beatles, Jimmy Buffet, The Eagles, The Allman Brothers, The Grateful Dead, Tom Petty, and many other recognizable names; and they continue to play the songs you know by heart.
The five-piece ensemble consists of original members – brothers Larry and Mike Morris playing rhythm guitar and drums respectively. Rounding out the group is Jim Lucyk on bass, Alan Puleo on keyboards and saxophone, and Patrick Black on lead guitar. All five musicians handle vocals.
Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions. Everyone is asked to please take their trash with them when they leave.
In the event of the threat of inclement weather or such weather, the concert will be moved to the auditorium of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ – just up the road from the Gazebo.
