St. Gabriel’s Episcopal is part of Christmas in the Village on December 6
On Saturday, December 6 from 10 am to 4 pm, St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church located at 153 Milton Road, Oak Ridge will be one of the venues involved in The Jefferson Arts Committee’s 9th annual Christmas in the Village event in the historically designated Village of Milton.
St. Gabriel’s sanctuary will be the setting for live entertainment throughout the day with performances by the White Rock School Chorus at 11 am followed by the Arthur Stanlick School Chorus at 12 noon. The No Strings Acappella Group will perform their mixed repertoire of popular, jazz, and classical music at 1 pm with a performance at 2 pm by the Jefferson Township High School Select Choir and Madrigal Singers. The Berkshire Valley Presbyterian Choir will close out the day with a performance at 3 pm.
Admission is free for all performances; and parking is free and available at St. Gabriel’s, Milton United Methodist Church and the Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 1 firehouse – all in easy walking distance within “The Village”.
The Church kitchen will be selling hot soup, delicious sandwiches, and refreshments; and several vendors will be selling their merchandise including the Jefferson Township High School Band Parents Association offering their beautiful fresh Christmas wreaths for sale.
