Drone demos coming to Jefferson Township Day
The New Jersey Drone Academy will be hosting several demonstrations to teach the public how to responsibly control a drone/unmanned aerial vehicle as well as the legalities and safety involved in doing so on Saturday, July 9 during the Jefferson Township Day event. Instructors will conduct demos at 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm and again at 3:30 pm on the Jefferson Township High School fields, 1010 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge.
While the Drone Academy will be bringing drones with them to demonstrate, the public is forbidden to bring a drone of any size on the school property or anywhere within the vicinity of the event during the day or evening Jefferson Township Day activities. Failure to abide by this warning will result in confiscation of the device.
