Entertainment abounds at MUMC during Christmas in the Village
The Jefferson Arts Committee is delighted that Milton United Methodist Church will once again serve as a venue in the 9th annual Christmas in the Village event on Saturday, December 6 from 10 am to 4 pm in the historically designated Village of Milton. MUMC is located at 316 Dover-Milton Road in the Milton/Oak Ridge section of Jefferson Township. Admission is free as is parking.
The church will host live entertainment in their church sanctuary including a 10 am performance by their very own Hand Bell Choir. The Jefferson Township Community Band under the direction of Pete Tummillo will perform their annual holiday concert at 11 am and ask for a free will offering. At 12 noon, the White Rock School Band will perform, followed by the Arthur Stanlick School Band at 1 pm. The Jefferson Township Middle School Band will perform at 2 pm followed by the Jefferson Township High School Select Band performance at 3 pm.
The entries in the Arts Committee’s annual Gingerbread House Contest will be on display in the lobby of the Church and the winning houses will be tagged with award ribbons. Be sure to stop by between 10 am and 4 pm to see these creative gingerbread houses. Entry forms available at www.jeffersonarts.org
