Lots of entertainment scheduled for Jefferson Township Day!
After 28 years of hosting the annual celebration of Jefferson Township Day, the Jefferson Arts Committee returns once again to host the 29th Jefferson Township Day on Saturday, June 11 and is pleased to present continuous live entertainment in addition to all the other activities of the day and evening. Everything takes place on the fields of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ.
On the Main Stage:
12:30 pm—Jefferson Township Community Chorus performs directed by Mike Morris
1:15 pm—Young Adult Rocker Band Cadence performs
1:45 pm— Hot Dog Eating Contest (in front of the stage)
3:00 pm—The Acoustic Eels Band performs
4:05 pm—The Rave On Band performs
5:15 pm—Jefferson Township Community Band and Jazz Band performs directed by Pete Tummillo
7:15 pm—The Reminisce Band Concert begins
8:05 pm—Mayor announces Citizens of the Year Awards
8:25 pm—The Reminisce Band continues their concert
9:20 pm—50/50 drawing
9:30 pm—LOOK TO THE SKIES FOR THE FIREWORKS!

Admission to the Jefferson Township High School field is free throughout the day so come early to enjoy not only the entertainment but all the other activities as you browse the arts, crafts, and merchandise vendors, the service club tables, and enjoy a delicious bite to eat or a refreshing beverage from one of the dozen food vendors on site. Beginning at 5:30 pm, a small admission charge of $3 per adult and $2 per child will be collected at all gates.
