Jefferson Township Day will rock!
As always, there will be continuous live entertainment this July 11 during the 29th annual Jefferson Township Day event at the Jefferson Township High School field at 1010 Weldon Road in Oak Ridge. But holding true to its commitment to address the needs of the young people of the township, the Jefferson Arts Committee is proud to present several young adult Jefferson Township-based bands who will be playing the music that their peers as well as many adults enjoy listening to.
This year, the Jefferson Arts Committee decided to feature one very talented band who performed recently in the Jefferson Township High School’s Rock Concert night, and their choice was the young adult band Cadence. The three-member band will appear on the Main Stage at 1:15 pm.
Then beginning at 2:15 pm, other talented young adult bands will appear on the stage located under a white tent on the field of the high school. The Young Rocker performers scheduled to play to date are at 2:15pm -Think Later, at 2:45pm - Brooke & Renee, at 3:15pm - The Gladiators of 2037, at 3:45pm - Psychodynamic, at 4:15pm - East Coast Blackout, at 4:45pm - Small Town Escape, and at 5:15pm -Mommy Issues.
So, be sure to stop by to hear some talented young musicians perform the music that they want to share.
