Professional Stunt Cyclist Chris Clark Brings His Show to Jefferson Day

On Saturday, July 11, the Jefferson Arts Committee will welcome professional stunt cyclist Chris Clark to the annual Jefferson Township Day celebration where he will perform two shows.  He’ll be on the field of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ for a 12:30 pm show and again at 1:30 pm

Chris has competed around the world over the last decade entertaining thousands at events like the Gravity Games, the Vans Warped Tour, New York’s Times Square Parade, and even the Olympic Games.

This stunt pro displays balance and agility as he maneuvers his bike over custom built ramps, pops wheelies, hops into the air landing on a box, jumps from ramps over 6 feet high to the top of his trailer and back down to the ground, and even jumps over a brave volunteer or two stretched out on the ground.  He also incorporates the value of making smart life choices, refraining from both peer pressure and substance abuse.  There’ll be give-aways during his shows, an autograph session, and attendees will have a chance to enter and win Chris’ personal ride, valued at over $3000

While Chris is incredibly talented, he isn’t just a source of compelling entertainment – he is also a source of expertise on the benefits of bicycling to kids and their families.  He has made it his mission to travel the country spreading the gospel of bicycling and its enormous lifetime benefits to anyone who will listen while entertaining crowds with mind-blowing performances every step of the way.  His message is that bicycles are empowering offering the first taste of autonomy and freedom to kids.  Bicycles are a physical outlet, provide an outdoor experience, offer an effective form of transportation, are good for one’s health, and positive for the environment.  Chris also endorses the use of bicycle helmets for children and adults.

Come watch Chris’ shows and learn more about how critical bicycling can be to rejuvenating families, children and adults.
